Our family the day before our youngest was born

As a child, I always dreamed of being a mother of many. Now my dream has come true - I have seven children aged from 14 years down to 7 months. My eldest, fifth, and seventh children are boys, and the rest are girls.

I love being a mother, and I homeschool all the children. This has taught me a lot of organisational and coping skills, especially as each newborn was added to our family.

My husband is a school teacher, and we have been very happily married for 18 years.

Living in beautiful New Zealand, on 23 acres of land, I enjoy the extra challenges of rural life, such as hand-milking our goats!

Since having my first child, I have been a full-time mother. Prior to this I worked as a bank teller, a child carer (including special needs), and a doctor's receptionist.

I have a certificate in Early Child Development from the Palmerston North Teachers' College.
